What is the CTSC?

Supply chains have faced significant disruptions in recent years. Now more than ever before, supply chain professionals need to become transformational leaders with skills in systems thinking, digital fluency and analytical methods for all types of supply chains.

The new APICS Certified in Transformation for Supply Chain (CTSC) credential will equip you with frameworks, strategies, processes and tools to effectively manage an end-to-end supply chain transformation.

The CTSC Beta Exam

Taking the CTSC Beta Exam allows you to provide valuable feedback and contribute to setting the scoring baseline for the new APICS certification. Plus, you could be one of the first professionals to earn the CTSC!

CTSC Beta Exam Details:

  • The CTSC beta bundle will be available to purchase beginning July 26, 2023, and includes the learning system, CTSC beta exam and one 2nd chance exam.

  • CTSC Beta Bundle purchasers must sit for the beta exam between October 2, 2023 - November 15, 2023, and will receive their scores on March 21, 2024* (date subject to change).

    CTSC retake exams will be available for purchase after the release of the beta exam scores on March 21, 2024 (date subject to change). Conditions apply. Please contact customer support with questions.

    Self-Study

    Ideal for self-starters and those with unpredictable schedules. The self-study option means you can learn on your own anytime, day or night — whatever best accommodates your schedule. The CTSC Bundle includes access to an online, interactive platform.

    Ideal for individuals who prefer a structured study environment. Instructor-led classes are offered by approved ASCM partners worldwide. These traditional classes combine the Learning System with the guidance of an APICS-recognized instructor and provide valuable peer discussion and networking.

    Instructor-Supported

    Ideal for those who want instructor support but can’t attend classes at a set time. Instructor-supported online classes are offered through Fox Valley Technical College. You will be assigned one instructor for the 14-week course, but there is no required meeting time, so you can complete assignments on your own schedule.

    Ideal for small and large groups for self-study or instructor-led classes. We’ll help you organize groups of self-study or instructor-led classes at your facility or virtually.     The Exam

    To earn the CTSC, you must pass one exam covering 4 modules of content. The exam consists of 150 questions, and you have 3.5 hours to complete the exam. Since the exam is in its beta period, scoring information will not be made available until March 21, 2024 (date subject to change).

    CTSC exams are administered via computer-based testing at Pearson VUE test centers worldwide and online through the OnVUE system.
