Position Overview

Supply chain analysts are essential to improving supply chain efficiency through data collection and management. They handle planning, scheduling, material management and oversight of the operational performance of a product’s life cycle. The supply chain analyst will touch various parts of an organization, including logistics, procurement and sales.

What does a supply chain analyst do?

  • Analyze and collect historical data
  • Develop or maintain reports, analytics and metrics
  • Identify savings opportunities
  • Measure operational performance against the plan
  • Maintain master data (create, update, clean, retire)
  • Plan material requirements
