Topic:

Mindset, Skillset, Toolset – The Digital Transformation Trifecta

In this session, the cohort will hear about the essentials of effective Digital Transformation of their organizations.

.

Topics to be explored:

1) The need to critically assess the Digital Fluency of each leadership team member

2) Inventorying and ranking the problems each supply chain leader needs to solve in their enterprise

3) Assessing whether digital solutions will solve each problem

4) Evaluating the upskilling/reskilling challenges faced in discrete cohorts based on each member of that cohort’s digital fluency

5) Cutting through the digital application clutter/noise by collaborating with the enterprise CIOs/CTOs to assess digital solutions based on operational and technical criteria.

Key Takeaways will be:

• Digital transformations are essential and will take place much more frequently to enable companies to operate at the speed of the consumer and deliver on increasing margin and profit expectations.

• The cost and availability of skilled/semi-skilled labor in the US will drive a different mix of human and digital assets in every organization

• The Leadership mindset and upskilling/reskilling the user community are the most important elements of any digital transformation (Tools are a distant third in importance)

• Delivering the promised ROI of digital initiatives will not occur without extensive and expert Change Management
