The Scholars Education Program provides professional development and networking opportunities to graduate and undergraduate students across the globe. In addition, recipients enjoy complimentary registration to ASCM CONNECT Annual Conference. Apply to be an ASCM scholar! Applications will be accepted April 1, 2021 extended through June 15, 2021.

Not a student, but looking to get involved?

Apply to be a Scholar Coordinator Volunteer and share your expertise with the next generation of supply chain leaders. Volunteer to help make the 2021 ASCM Scholars Education Program a memorable experience for these talented students. The Scholar Education Program is made possible by generous donations from ASCM members and Chapter/Forum Leaders.

ASCM Scholars Education Program

Participate as a Mentor

Mentoring provides a wonderful opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with others in your profession. Mentors also earn credit toward APICS certification maintenance. ASCM offers two ways to get involved in mentoring.

Scholar Mentor Program

  • The 2021 Scholars Education program will run virtually from August 2021 through April 2022
  • Seeking 50 industry professionals to engage in 1 on 1 mentoring with an ASCM scholar
  • Time Commitment: Variable, recommend a minimum of one hour of conversation (via phone, virtual meeting, etc) per month across the nine-month program
  • Mentors are invited to attend the final virtual scholar session in April 2022 for a World Café style round table discussion on industry topics

Virtual Mentor Program

  • The Virtual Mentor Program is open year-round to all ASCM members
  • Mentees can be from all career levels: students, young professionals, mid-career professionals – anyone in need of career advice, networking, leadership development, etc.
  • You get to determine the duration and structure of the mentor/mentee relationship.
