Building Frontier and Humanitarian Supply Chains

The ASCM Foundation’s mission extends from improving developed supply chains to building reliable supply chains in underserved, frontier markets. This involves educating local professionals and ensuring that budding supply chains have the resources they need to deliver life-saving supplies.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Through a three-year grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ASCM Foundation is solving critical public health supply chain challenges, including improving weak distribution systems, implementing reliable monitoring and data-collection mechanisms, and elevating the maturity of local supply chain communities. The goal of this initiative is to create self-reliant supply chain talent, increase frontier market supply chain maturity, improve distribution systems and enable consistent monitoring.

In addition, we have created a technical services plan to support The Global Fund’s supply chain organizational strength-building activities. The strategy focuses on heightening the capabilities of leaders, professionals and the public health workforce to maximize proven programs in learning, development and organizational transformation.

ASCM Africa Regional Conferences

Join us at our ASCM Regional Conferences in Africa to discuss how creating self-reliant talent, increasing frontier market maturity, improving distribution systems, and enabling consistent monitoring will create a better world through supply chain.
