As supply chains grow more complex, global and sophisticated, organizations across every industry face a mounting need for skilled, diverse and dedicated professionals. The ASCM Foundation works to attract more people to the field, prepare them for rewarding career opportunities, and give them the tools and knowledge they need to make a difference anywhere in the world. We are proving the value of our educational and supply chain development initiatives with a full range of programs and meaningful results.

The ASCM Foundation is helping to shape the workforce of the future with programs such as the ASCM Case Competition. Each year, undergraduate and graduate students team up to solve a real-world, end-to-end supply chain problem. the finalists present their cases at the ASCM CONNECT Annual Conference, where they receive feedback from supply chain practitioners and ASCM staff members. Through this competition, students gain on hands experience in supply chain.
The ASCM Foundation focuses on supply chain workforce development programs training displaced and incumbent workers to be the next generation of supply chain professionals.
The ASCM Foundation is committed to supporting and advancing diversity and inclusion in supply chain, fostering professional environments that value equality and individual differences, and inspiring people of all profiles and backgrounds to succeed in supply chain careers.
Maturity models are based on the premise that achieving overall supply chain excellence requires many small steps of continuous process improvement. The ASCM Global Health Supply Chain Maturity Model provides a framework for organizing and prioritizing changes to a healthcare supply chain.
