The nonprofit Reshoring Initiative (RI) has compiled a comprehensive database about U.S. reshoring, applicable to any program that aims to bring manufacturing jobs back to home soil. Using this database, RI provides support to organizations seeking to prioritize proximate suppliers in order to compress their supply chains and improve responsiveness and resilience. This presentation will summarize key findings revealed by the data and delve into how supply chains can evolve and thrive more locally.
