Coffee is the most popular beverage in the world, with more than 400 billion cups enjoyed each year. Unfortunately, many coffee-producing countries suffer from extreme poverty, and coffee producers and their families often do not earn a sufficient living wage. Farmer Connect is a global supply chain technology provider that promotes fair and transparent agriculture practices – from farmer to consumer. The company uses blockchain technology powered by IBM to bring about safe and private business data sharing and transparent data exchange.
