Schedule and Case Materials

The annual ASCM Case Competition is proudly provided by ASCM in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting, LLP. Registration for the 2022 Case Competition is now open.

ASCM continues to exercise caution in planning events that require travel. It has not yet been determined if the regional and final rounds of the 2022 competition will be held in person or virtually. Please note that the following schedule may change as new information becomes available. Continue to watch this page for updates.


  • October 1, 2021 – College/university round case released
  • November 1, 2021 – Deadline for teams to submit entries
  • November 2-15, 2021 – Schools evaluate all submitted entries and notify ASCM of up to two advancing teams (schools with two or fewer teams automatically advance to the qualifying round)
  • November 16-30, 2021 – Virtual qualifying round
  • December 15, 2021 – Top eight teams from each region announced and invited to regional round*
  • Mid-February 2022 – Regional round (Details TBD)
  • Mid-September 2022 – Final round (Details TBD)

*If the regional round is held in person, you may need to cross an international border to attend the event. ASCM will provide VISA letters and an invitation for advancing teams; however, students are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents, such as government issued passports. ASCM does not cover fees associated with VISA applications or passports.

Competition Procedures

The 2022 Case Competition rules and procedures apply to student participants, advisors and participating schools. All entrants are required to complete their applications in accordance with the rules and procedures** in order to be considered as valid participants in the competition.
